Keeper of the Lost Cities

Keeper of the Lost Cities is the first book in the series. The series is by Shannon Messenger. In the first book, Sophie discovers something about herself and is forced to leave everything she knows behind her. This story is full of acceptance, love, humor, and sad times. If you like mystery, humor, and learning about myths, this is a great book for you. I first read this book in seventh grade because of O.B.O.B. and I'm very glad I found it. There are seven books in the series so far. I have read the first four books and there were many times I was screaming, laughing, and almost crying. I strongly recommend this book for middle and high schoolers. It is a bit of an easy read, but it is amazing.
